Emageon Sells Cardio Server
Emageon to sell Epiphany’s Cardio Server under its brand name HeartSuite ECG
Emageon, whose HeartSuite VERICIS ranked first in Klas’ 2007 cardiology PACS survey, now offers PACS with Epiphany’s ECG Management system. The new product is called HeartSuite ECG.
Emageon learned of Epiphany from common customers both companies share. Negotiations closed with an OEM contract on 22 February 2008.
Epiphany is the fastest-growing ECG Management company in the industry. Jim Stanczak, one of Epiphany’s founders, stated, “We believe Emageon’s installed base of customers and prospective clients will gain tremendous clinical and financial benefits by deploying HeartSuite ECG. HeartSuite ECG is compatible with fifty devices from thirty vendors in twelve modalities. With its Pure-Web Access, physicians can use HeartSuite ECG from any computer; they can even view STEMI ECGs on an iPhone. HeartSuite ECG communicates smoothly with Emageon’s HeartSuite Vericis and third-party electronic medical records.
“It was a pleasure to train Emageon’s sales team. They showed tremendous curiosity about and great enthusiasm for HeartSuite ECG. The relationship is only a few weeks old and already we are working together on some substantial projects.”
