VNA Health System and affiliates offer Epiphany’s Cardio WiFi for CHF home care.
Harrisburg, PA
3 September 2008
VNA Health System and its affiliates, Visiting Nurse Association of Central Pennsylvania, Centre Home Care, and Community Nursing Services announced the debut of its ECG services today. Presenting at the Hershey Medical Center, VNA introduced Epiphany’s Cardio WiFi electrocardiograph for home nursing.
Cardio WiFi is a portable, high-resolution cardiograph. VNA offers Cardio WiFi to augment its battery of diagnostic exams in its Congestive Heart Failure (“CHF”) Monitoring Service. Physicians will access periodic, ECG updates on their CHF patients as easily as they access Google.
Beyond CHF, VNA nurses will use Cardio WiFi to take ad-hoc ECGs when they detect irregular rhythms and events during a home visit. By taking and posting an electrocardiogram, physicians will gain concrete evidence of cardiac problems at home that may require further intervention.
VNA Health System and its affiliates offer these services to its clients in eighteen counties. VNA is, likewise, looking forward to sharing its database with other VNA offices that purchase Cardio WiFi’s. For details, contact Gary Scicchitano at 717 233 1035, x 126.
